There's a lot to do in Mountain View and nearby.

Red Rock Coffee's weekly concert series this week brings back to Mountain View Red Rock Recording Artist, the alternative rocker artist Michael Stevens on Friday, Feb. 10 at 8 p.m. and the duo of singer/songwriter Rabbit Quinn and Kevin Mason Hull, Saturday, Feb. 11 at 8 p.m.

It's the last weekend to catch The Pitmen Painters at the Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts. TheatreWorks, the nationally acclaimed theatre of Silicon Valley, has for the past few weeks captivated audiences with Lee Hall’s absorbing comedic drama about a group of 1930s miners in Britain who move from asking questions about art to actively creating it. Performances Friday, Feb. 10 and Saturday, Feb. 11 at 8 p.m., matinee Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 12 at 2 p.m. and last show, Sunday at 7 p.m. Tickets: $19 students; $69 general.

The Cheryl Burke Dance studio will host it's Red and White Masquerade Ball on Saturday, Feb. 11 from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. It's a dress-up dance so wear red and white for this dress-up dance and don't forget a mask—you won't know who you're dancing with until you unmask! Admission: $12, $10 after 10 p.m.

If you want your Rock en Español then party at Alberto's this Saturday, Feb. 12 and listen to bands Ruido Azul and Canela Fina. Cover charge $15. 

Bring your own ukelele or "uke" can borrow one this Monday, Feb. 13 at Dana Street Roasting Co., during their monthly Ukelele Jam! Free from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Open to everyone of all ages.
