In Photos: 'Meet the Brewers' a Sold-Out Success
A whopping 750 people turned out for the third annual event, featuring 19 local breweries and five gourmet food trucks.

On Saturday afternoon, the Hermitage Brewing Co. in San Jose was a-buzz with roughly 750 enthusiastic beer-lovers and foodies, who all came out for the wildly successful, third annual "Meet the Brewers" event.
The event, organized a few years ago in response to SF Beer Week, featured 19 south bay and Santa Cruz-area breweries, and five gourmet food trucks, serving everything from barbecue to Cajun to ice cream. Mountain View's Tied House restaurant was a major sponsor and organizer.
Tweets and Facebook posts all day long were evidence of the fun people had as they mingled, tasted beer after beer, and enjoyed delicious food.
Proceeds from the event benefited the efforts of the nonprofit organization Can Do Multiple Sclerosis.
Patch–one of the sponsors of this year's event–amassed this collection of photos through the Twitter hashtag #meetthebrewers, some by Mountain View Patch Editor Claudia Cruz who was in attendance, and others from people who posted their photos online or sent them in to Patch.

This is my second year attending Meet the Brewers and it was really fun. I love that all the brewers come to us, which gives us the opportunity to sample the ones we like. Then if we are ever in their respective South Bay cities, we can stop by for more.
