Kiwanis Grants $160,000 to Silicon Valley Organizations

For the first-time ever, the Mountain View chapter was able to give to all 44 applicants.

Forty-four organizations received a total of $160,000 in grant money from the Kiwanis Club of Mountain View during a luncheon on Jan. 23, 2013 at Ristorante Don Giovanni in Mountain View.

In total, the Kiwanis Club has given $1.4 million in grants the last decade. This figure exclude the amount in scholarship aid.

The grantees awarded included organizations based as far north as Redwood City and down to San Jose, with a majority in or affiliated with Mountain View. Here is a list of the recipients.
