Opportunity for Passionate & Budding Citizen Journalists

Looxcie, Inc., makers of the wearable POV social video cam, is currently accepting applications for their Citizen Journalism Program, and is looking for you!

 

Looxcie is offering their award-winning cam, free companion apps, device accessories and services to a select group of citizen journalists to make gathering content and reporting more effective and efficient.  With the ability to upload video to Twitter, Facebook, YouTube or email instantly, the cam makes sharing breaking news in real time seamless.

 

Applications are now being accepted with a submission deadline of June 3rd.  Submission requirements include links to two video samples, brief written bio with background and interests and explanation of reporter’s goals, mission and reporting style.  Click here for all application information: www.Looxcie.com/citizenjournalists

 

All selected Press Corps members will be asked to post weekly videos for the duration of the 6 month program to their own blog, forum or website.  Looxcie will promote the program and selected content and members through social media, Looxcie.com, media outreach, and upon completion of the program, an exemplary citizen journalist will be honored by Looxcie.
