Mountain View Grade Crossing Closed for Maintenance Work

The Castro Street grade crossing in Mountain View will be closed to vehicle and pedestrian traffic from 8 p.m., Friday, June 20 until 4 a.m., Monday June 23. The closure is necessary in order to allow Caltrain to perform maintenance work on the railroad tracks.

The work includes adding new ballast or rocks to the area under and around the train tracks, realigning the tracks and adding new concrete panels to the pedestrian walkways.
