Easter Fun: Where Are My Peeps?

If Peeps chicks and bunnies lived or visited Mountain View, what would they do? Where would they go?

The first newspaper I ever wrote for, Manhattan Times, in my neighborhood in New York ran an Easter feature that I loved.

They asked neighborhood residents to purchase—not necessarily eat—the gooey and colorful Marshmallow Peeps and shoot photos of them around the neighborhood, as if the Peeps resided in or were visiting Washington Heights/Inwood.

Watch the video above to get an idea (and to admire my old neighborhood!).

This is a really fun activity to do with the kids, while on a walk with a loved one, or if you are on a coffee break. Hint: software and photography apps could make the image more realistic!

So let's try it Mountain View, "Where are my Peeps?"
