Essential Facebook Guide to Mountain View

Find out who you need to like on Facebook to stay up-to-date with Mountain View.

You can't get the best information if you don't know where to look.

You're already on Mountain View Patch so you're pretty intuitive. And if you spend a lot of time keeping up with friends on Facebook, there's also a slew of community-based organizations (CBOs), institutions and businesses to help you stay up-to-date with what's going on in Mountain View.

A lot of the business have deals that you can only know about by liking their page. Also, CBOs keep you informed on workshops, activities services. Even institutions like the Mountain View Police and Fire Departments tell you about their day-to-day activities around town.

Here's a list of some of the pages we follow at MV Patch. Who are you following? If you know of more, tell us in the comments.

One of my favorite places to visit is the Mountain View History Center located on the second floor of the city's library. Lots of images, artifacts, and documents chronicling the changes that MV has undergone.

Thanks for the suggestions @Mannie and @Donna! Will do a redux of this in a few weeks since there are so many great Facebook pages in the area!
