Expect Rain and Isolated Thunderstorms this Weekend

Rain and isolated thunderstorms are expected in the Bay Area Friday.

The National Weather Services forecasts the chance of percipitation at 90 percent, with a light east wind changing to southeast at six to 11 miles per hour. High near 62 degrees.

The rain will continue at night and the temperature will drop to 52, however the southeast gust will increase slightly between nine and 13 mph.

Showers will likely continue Saturday and the day will be mostly cloudy, with a high of 61 degrees. The southeast wind of five to 9 mph switches to a westerly wind in the afternoon. The chance of precipitation is 60 percent. Rain could continue into the late, late night with percipitation at 70 percent. Lows around 52 degree.

Sunday could see some clearing with a 50/50 chance of showers. High near 60. The chance of rain drops to 30 percent by the evening, as does the temperature with a low of 48.
