Introduce your child to dance

What: The local dance company offers free trial ballet classes for firsst time students. Space is limited and a reservation is required.

...but if they already dance...

 Bayer Ballet is holding auditions for its annual Winter Fairy Tale this Sunday, Sept. 16 at the school. Open to girls and boys ages eight to 18. Pre-registration required and audition fee is $20 per student.

 

Give back to the environment

Who: Creek Connections Action Group

What: Volunteers are still needed to help with the annual Coastal Cleanup Day

When: Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Where: The two sites in Mountain View already have all their volunteers (Stevens Creek Trail at Dana Street and Central Avenue), but there are other locations like portions of Los Gatos Creek in both Campbell and Los Gatos, as well as the Stevens Creek Reservoir in Cupertino that need help.
