Get Out! Things To Do This June 3-5

Music, dancing, theatre and food—all great options for a weekend in Mountain View.

  1. Nothing says “It’s the weekend!” like , 820 E. El Camino Real, Friday through Sunday nights. Have a drink, then have a laugh while belting out your favorite songs from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. Call 650-969-2098 for more information.
  2. For those that consider dancing and A-list treatment as the ultimate party, there is , 251 Castro St. From 7 p.m. to 2 a.m. on June 4, you and your crew will be treated to “celebrity” treatment plus the sounds of DJ D-Roc and other guest DJs spinning the best of top 40, hip hop, house, and dance music every Saturday night at Zen Lounge. You can also check out live video mixing all night long.   4. Check out “[title of show]”, a new musical adapted from the book by Hunter Bell with music and lyrics by Jeff Bowen. Running through June 26 at the Mountain View Center for The Performing Arts, “[title of show]” is “Broadway’s hit backstage comedy is an unabashed love letter to the agony, ecstasy, and idiocy of making musical theatre”.   5. Start a new summertime Sunday tradition by shopping at the , found on the Caltrain Station parking lot at 600 W.
