Enjoy the soulful folk sounds of Aussie-born and Charlottesville-raised Mariana Bell stops by Mountain View to promote her sophomore EP "Push." The 22 year-old Los Angeles-based singer has performed at the National Cathedral and The White House. , Saturday, Oct. 8 at 8 p.m.

3. Play About the Big Easy After Katrina

After the physical devastation of areas of New Orleans, how does a family rebuild itself? That's what TheatreWork's new production of "Clementine in the Lower 9" at the will tackle from Oct. 5 until Oct. 30. Check online for schedules and tickets. Contains brief nudity and mature language.

4. Last Weekend for "Fifth of July"

The invites everyone to catch the Lanford Wilson's funny play about life in the U.S. after the Vietnam War, "Fifth of July." Friday, Oct. 7 and Saturday, Oct. 8 at 8 p.m. for $25 or Saturday, Oct. 8 and Sunday, Oct. 9 matinees at 2 p.m. for $20.

5. We're Ukelele Jamming

Head to the for the first annual Ukelele Jam and learn about the people and culture of Hawaii through the sounds of the ukelele. Also listen as renown musician Roy Sakuma performs and holds workshops. Saturday, 12 p.m. to 7 p.m.; $7 admission; $20 for workshops.
