Grab & Go Kids Planner: The Groove Kings, Tangled and Saturday Storytime

This week marks the final appearances for the Summer Outdoor Movie and Summer Concert Series in Mountain View.

Where/When: The corner of Castro and Dana Streets, Mountain View, Thursday, 6:30 p.m to 8 p.m. 

Why Go: Don't miss the final concert of the summer and bring out the family to see "The Groove Kings" in downtown Mountain View. A South Bay-based dance party band, the upbeat, high tempo showcase will have everyone in the family dancing the summer evening away.

Where/When: , Friday, 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm. 

Why Go: An afternoon escape for the kids, the weekly class offers kids eight and up a chance to learn a new craft and make some new friends in the community as well.

Where/When: , Friday, 8:30 pm. 

Why Go: The outdoor summer movie tour across the bushel of lovely parks in Mountain View is down to it's final showing of the summer. The finale will be held at Rengstorff Park and will feature the Disney animated film "Tangled" featuring the voices of Zachary Levi and Mandy Moore. The films follows the main character, Rapunzel, and her long, flowing blond hair through a series of adventures.

Where/When: 216 Main St. #A, Los Altos, CA, Friday, 5:30 pm to 10:30 pm. 

Why Go: This week's feature is "Swiss Family Robinson", the 1960 Disney classic tale about a family shipwrecked on a desert island. If you think the tree house at Disneyland is fun, the action-packed adventure film that inspired the park feature will surely keep you and the family entertained from start to finish.

Where/When: , Saturday, 10:15 a.m to 11 a.m. 

Why Go: Aimed for kids ages 2-5-years-old, the weekly storytime session is a fun morning time event to bring the little ones too. The weekly event runs through October.
