Joy, Cheer and Snow at the Tree Lighting Celebration

Hundreds of Mountain Viewers gathered to enjoy the start of the holiday season.

It would've been hard to be a scrooge in Mountain View Monday night.

The city held its annual Community Tree Lighting Celebration and families came to the Civic Center to enjoy some caroling and special holiday activities.

And as the angelic voices of local area school choirs filled the air, Santa Claus listened to the wishes of children inside the Center for the Performing Arts.

But this year, in addition to the sweet apple cider and cookies, everyone was in for another special treat—snow!
