Today's Valentine's Day, and it's come down to the wire. You procrastinated again and forgot to buy a gift or book a table at a fancy restaurant in downtown Mountain View.

Whether you need a gift for your man, your woman or your single friends, here are some simple and last-minute gift ideas.

  1. Roses are Red, Violets are Blue. Flowers and Valentine's Day go hand in hand. Flowers are delicate, fragrant and elegant, which is why they make a great gift. Luckily, Mountain View has plenty of options.  is normally closed on Mondays, but it will open for Valentine’s Day to offer a prix fixe menu with four or five entrees that range from $40-$68 per person.
