This month the library highlights its banned books collection.
Did you know that the classic novel Call of the Wild by Jack London was once on a banned book list? (For its political views.)
How about J.R.R. Tolkien's Fellowship of the Ring, Two Towers and Return of the King? (For its religious views.)
They were, but the wants to encourage you to read them! The library has placed some of them out on the second floor for easy access. While times have changed, some continue to be controversial. Why don't you go check them out for yourself?
