Reader's Choice: Ideas for the Best Father's Day Gift

June 17th is Father's Day and stores in Mountain View offer lots of great things for dad.

What do you plan to get your dad for Father's Day?

That could depend on what your father likes. Usually Mother's Day gifts are meant to give her a break, to pamper her and remind her that she's the queen of the house.

For a dad, it usually means feeding into their hobbies. If your dad likes to grill, consider a new grill or utensils. Maybe even an apron with "World's Greatest Dad" painted on it.

If you need some help, consider stopping by these Mountain View stores to shop for your "No. 1 Guy:"

For the golfer or athlete:

For the gadget guru:

For the grillmaster:

For the outdoorsman:

For the book and music-lover:

For the dad who appreciates anything made with love:

How about taking dad to see a Giants game or Tiger Woods?

That's a great idea too ... let's see ... and they should take Caltrain or BART too! Why drive if you don't have too!

Or ride your bicycle with dad up the San Francisco Bay Trail. There is free valet bicycle parking at the Giants baseball stadium. Maybe catch Caltrain home if you buy dad too many beers and hot dogs during the game. There are bike racks on Caltrain.
