Get Out! Spring Parade and Dance Showcase this Weekend

Bring your flowers, fancy cars and favorite people to Mountain View and spend the day hopping from one great event to another.

Join your neighbors and the entire Mountain View community as they welcome the change in season with music, entertainment and fun during the annual Spring Parade. The parade, which begins on the corner of Castro and Villa Streets and proceeds into the Civic Center Plaza, will have nearly 1,500 participants and about 1000 spectators. Afterward, join local organizations and city agencies as they provide activities for both parents and kids at . When and Where: Saturday, April 28 from Noon until 2 p.m. Cost: Free.  Stop by the Patch table and spin the wheel for prizes!

The in Mountain View invites the local dance community and dance enthusiasts to watch a dance showcase where students of all ages perform with their instructors and try to impress the judges. The goal is to see how much they've mastered and where there remains room for improvement. A variety of styles will be exhibited. When and Where: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 28, at 1400 North Shoreline Blvd. # A-1. Cost: General spectator admission is $15 per person for the entire day.
