Things to Know: Beer Garden Grand Opening and Palestinian Cultural Celebration Among this Week's Featured Events

A look ahead at some of this week's featured events in Mountain View.

1. LinkAges Bay Area will host its monthly Timeback Tales kickoff on Tuesday.

Feature guest Michael Streby, recognized as a fitness guru in wellness circles, will talk about "Fitness for Health" for any age. Sterby is the wellness coordinator for Sutter Health Partners.

The event, which is held the first day of every month, will feature a potluck dinner.

The event will be held at 6 p.m. at the Mountain View Senior Center (266 Escuela Avenue).

2. Santa Clara University will host an event highlighting Palestinian culture on Wednesday.

The Celebrate Palestinian Culture with Music and Dance event will be held at the Santa Clara University Recital Hall from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

The event will feautre Diyar Dance Theatre, Bethleham's only dance troupe, representing the historical city's rich history, values and heritage in a theatrical dance form and combining Dabka, modern theatre and contemporary dance

3. Bell Tower Bistro (20490 Saratoga Los Gatos Road) will hold its grand opening on Thursday.

The 6 p.m. event will feature wine, craft beers and a barbecue along with a live band.
