Trouble in Paradise for Google Co-Founder and Wife

Sergey Brin and Anne Wojcicki split due to soap-opera like love triangle.

Sergey Brin has made headlines again—but not for his lab-grown hamburger meat or Google Glass.

Apparently the Google co-founder and his wife Anne Wojcicki, founder of Mountain View-based and Google-backed DNA test-kit 23 and Me, have split up several news outlets have reported.

According to the San Jose Mercury News, the separation became more-widely known last Wednesday when All Things D posted a blog about how Brin had become romantically-involved with another Google employee.

The New York Post revealed Brin's mistress to be Amanda Rosenberg, a 27-year-old Google marketing manager who worked on Google Glass.

In a story fit for a soap opera, the Post reported that Rosenberg used to date soon to be former Google employee Hugo Barra, who served as vice president of product for Android. All Things D didn't confirm if Barra's departure to Xiaomi—a Chinese cell phone manufacturer—had to do with the complicated love triangle.

Gunn High Alumna Wojcicki and Brin—both 40 years old—married six years ago, but are not legally separated, according to All Things D. The pair has two children and lived in Los Altos Hills.
