  • Night Bike. Mountain View Public Library, 585 Franklin St. 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Light your bike. Registration required. 
  • Chris Marker Film Series. Various locations on Stanford Campus Tuesdays through December. First film Nov. 5, 7 p.m. Cubberley Auditorium. "Grin without a Cat" on 35mm film.

  •  Kilgoris Project Marketplace.  235 First St., downtown Los Altos. Pop-up boutique - handmade items from small producers in Africa, the US and around the world. Proceeds help to educate and feed the children of a Maasai village in southwest Kenya.

  • Sewing Workshop: Fidget Aprons. Mountain View Public Library. 1:30 p.m. Fidget aprons can be used to soothe restless hands; they are particularly useful for people with Alzheimers, Autism, or ADHD. Join us and make an apron to keep or donate.
