There's a lot of great places to live in the world, so share with us why you chose to stay here.

In an article published in the Business Insider last Thursday, Mountain View is listed as one of the hottest 15 cities (of the future) to live in the United States.

I am not want to disagree. I live and work in the city, and am never bored. I think that's one reason why love MV. There is a lot to do, if you look carefully.

Of course a reason to love Mountain View is because of the good selection of good schools. Children (and parents) who go to school in Mountain View get a good head start on interacting with the diversity of people they'll work and play with the rest of their lives.

The reasons that I moved to Mountain View from the East Coast are many: I love the climate, the people, the cultural diversity, and a work environment put an emphasis on innovation. It's a huge step that 12 years ago, when I said to new acquaintances that I live in Mountain View, they looked puzzled - and today, they nod and are jealous!

The name MV says it all. The magnific views of the East and West Mountains, from anyplace, specially walking up and down the beautiful Castro Street. Most houses have the sun light shinning throughout all their windows, and above their roofs. Not ike in the East, New York City, streets and houses surrounded by concrete like the typical high rising buildings also known Sustainable living with an S for Segregation. No Views of Segregation in the West, only Views of the Mountains in M V.

Today I visited Shoreline Park (again) and marveled at the amazing views and tranquility. Definitely one of the reasons I love Mountain View!

"love" such a city is going maybe a little too far. there are outdoor areas and the open parks and hiking trails and such. considering how crowded it all is, there are certainly worse places to be. consider the advantages and resources that can be found...

As a former NYer, I don't think MV is crowded at all! It's all relative!

I can set up interviews with really interesting people, like CEOs of startups while sipping on a beer.
