John Steinbeck's "Of Mice and Men"

A literary masterpiece comes to life this spring when TheatreWorks presents Of Mice and Men. Crafted for the stage by John Steinbeck himself, this deeply moving portrait immortalizes the strength of friendship and the depth of the American dream. Gentle giant Lennie and his protective friend George escape a misunderstood past to find work on a Salinas Valley ranch during the Great Depression. In this powerful tale of ambition and loyalty, the men forge strong alliances and make dangerous enemies, all while dreaming of having land of their own. Founding Artistic Director Robert Kelley directs a stellar cast, including AJ Meijer as “Lennie” and Jos Viramontes as "George."
