PYT Presents "A Christmas Carol"

Get into the holiday spirit with Peninsula Youth Theatre’s production of “A Christmas Carol.”  Written specifically for Peninsula Youth Theatre’s Stories on Stage program by Dexter Fidler, this 45 minute adaptation is a perfect way to introduce young audiences to the Dickens Classic.

A special performance on December 9 at 7pm also features a performance by PYT’s Dickens Carolers singing beautiful Christmas carols in authentic Victorian garb – PYT even provides cookies and cider!

Other performances of A Christmas Carol take place December 9 & 10 at  the Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts, 500 Castro St., Mountain View.  The show is directed by Michael Champlin.

A Christmas Carol  is presented as part of Peninsula Youth Theatre’s “Stories on Stage” proram.  For the 15th consecutive year, PYT will offer Stories on Stage on the MVCPA’s intimate SecondStage as a counterpart to its full-length, fully produced musicals. These simple 45-minute dramatizations of award-winning children’s literature are designed to foster literacy by encouraging young children to “read the book, then see the play.”
