Grab and Go Kids Planner: Festivals, a Farm and Fried Worms

Two festivals to choose from this weekend, one right here at home and another in the town next door; a youth play, a farm visit and the library book sale are our suggestions for this week's kids planner.

Where/When: , 444 Castro St, Mountain View, Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Why Go: There will be lots going on here for art lovers and foodies, as well as for those with interest in gardening, fitness, wellness and more.  But we'll focus on the kids for right now. Besides what's there for everyone, kids get their own Tons of Fun Zone, which includes  a 24 inch climbing wall, inflatible slides and bounces, remote controlled NASCAR race track, face painting, temporary henna tattoos, bubble art, balloon twisters, police and fire department displays. Plus this event has the Cupertino Patch seal of approval as a great event for grandparents to take their grandkids out for a day.
