The Viewfinder: Cars! Cars! Cars!

Collecting a classic car is not for the faint of heart.

The key is to find one with an undamaged body and as many of the original parts–like paint, upholstery, hubcaps, paneling–as possible. Of course, the price for one in "mint" condition could run you tens if not hundreds of thousands of dollars. But the other option is to buy one that needs work and then spend the next few years building it back up.
