Planning to hop on Highway 101 anytime soon? Consider staying for dinner in Mountain View.
Country music sensation Jason Aldean performs at Shoreline Amphitheatre Friday, Sept. 28 and if last year's traffic was any indication, expect to start-and-stop or sit in your car between 6 and 8 p.m.
Expect slow moving traffic on Highways 101, 85 and 237 as North Bayshore and other Silicon Valley employees pour into the roadways after work, and overlap with the early concertgoers. Shoreline Boulevard, Rengstorff Street and Charleston Road will likely also be affected.
If you do want to get to Gold's Gym, Century 16, Cheryl Burke Dance Studio, Sports Page or any of the other locations in that area, try parking on the south side of 101 and walking across.
Or if you have access to Stevens Creek Trail or Permanente Creek Trail, bike or walk up the trail and get off at the La Avenida entrance near the Microsoft campus. It might be the perfect day for a bike ride.
Heading to Shoreline Park for a jog, bike or walk your dog? Consider going the back way down San Antonio Road to the Terminal Boulevard entrance or taking the Stevens Creek Trail.
Performing with Aldean are Luke Bryan, Rachel Farley and Dee Jay Silver. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the concert starts at 7:30 p.m.
