Three Arrested In Retail Theft Ring Bust in Mountain View

Mountain View Police have arrested three men Tuesday night for grand theft and burglary in what may be part of a larger retail theft ring.

According to police sources, the two of the suspects were arrested outside of the Target at 555 Showers Dr., and the third fled on foot across the street toward Walmart at 600 Showers Dr., where he was apprehended.

One of the officers at the scene believes that at least one of the detained may have been involved with more retail thefts.

Several electronic items were recovered inside of a black Mercedes Benz with falsified license plates, an officer told Patch.

The case continues to be investigated.
