Last Chance: Deadlines You Don't Want to Miss

Up and coming event deadlines for fundraisers, play tickets, and more.

We all do it. Forget to mark our calendars for upcoming Little League Sign-Ups, prom tickets or local business expos. There are so many events and opportunities in Mountain View that is can be hard to keep tabs on them all.

The following is a list of upcoming deadlines. Take a look before it's your last chance!

  • March 28: Screening of "Miss Representation" at  Spartan Theater, hosted by the LA-MV PTA,  and the MVLA Foundation. 'Written and directed by Jennifer Siebel Newsom, the documentary exposes how mainstream media contribute to the under-representation of women in positions of power and influence in America' the event listing says. Not suitable for children under 14. Free, but tickets are going fast via Eventbrite.
  • March 28: It's the last week to see "Turn Your Cheek: Silhouettes and the Victorian Era" on display at the historic Rengstorff House, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m., now through Mar. 28. The exhibit includes vintage silhouettes on display alongside modern interpretations. Created in partnership with the Greater Bay Area Costumers Guild and 5th grade students of the Art4Schools program of the Community School of Music and Arts. For more information, please call: 650-903-6392. Rengstorff House, 3070 N. Shoreline Blvd.
  • Open (but activities filling in): There is still time to enroll your child in the city's 2012 Summer Recreation Activities. According to staff at the Park and Recreation Department, the popular swimming classes at Eagle and Rengstorff Park Pools are filled, but there are openings for other activities.
