Tech companies bring jobs, innovation and billions of dollars to Silicon Valley and it's not surprising that some of the wealthiest Americans made their fortunes here, and still work and reside here.

Forbes magazine released its annual list of the richest people on the planet this month. The rankings include a who's-who of tech CEOs.

While no billionarie lives in Mountain View, they've established the city as the home of their corporate headquarters. Do Google, LinkedIn and Intuit sound familiar?

Laurene Powell Jobs is on the list. According to Forbes, she's the richest woman in California.
