Halloween City Opens in Mountain View

A pop-up Halloween shop? Yes, that's exactly what's going in the former Safeway location.

According to Ryan, the store manager, Halloween City will hopefully open on September 9th and then it will close up shop on November 4th. The store will offer all types of costumes from princesses and superheroes for kids and of course options for adults. He believes The Lone Ranger costume will be popular, "and anything sexy for women."

Drivers can be seen craning their heads as they drove by the vacant store at 2580 California St., which along with Diddam's will have the most options for the majority of tastes in Mountain View.

If not, and you feel like being creative, head to Joann Fabric's and Michael's to make you own costume.

What do you plan to dress up as for Halloween?
