Happy Belated Birthday Google!

Mountain View's most famous company turns the big 1-5

Hotel Avante politely reminded its Facebook fans (and Patch!) that Sept. 4 (err, yesterday) was Google's birthday.

Sorry Googlers, we missed your birthday. Hope you had a great one.

Here's what Hotel Avante posted:

Google is 15 years old today!!! To celebrate, here are 3 #FunFacts you probably didn't know about them. (well unless you work there that is)

1. Google was originally called BackRub. The homepage read: "BackRub is a 'web crawler' which is designed to traverse the web."

2. Around 1,000 of Google's employees became millionaires when the company went public in 2004.

3. A new Google employee is known as a "Noogler" and a former employee is referred to as a "Xoogler".

What other fun facts do you know about Google?
