Media Mogul and Billionaire Steve Forbes in Mountain View

In a huge "get" for Mountain View community access television KMVT-15, television show The Right Side interviewed media mogul and billionaire Steve Forbes Wednesday afternoon.

Forbes in town to speak at The Conservative Forum about the free market comeback, first stopped by KMVT, where he spoke about the overreach of government.

"Like the tax code. Why don't people understand the tax code? Why not a flat tax," he said. "Those are the kind of things people should focus on. The government makes it very difficult."

Regarding Silicon Valley, he encourages entrepreneurs because it creates competition and better products for consumers.

"We move ahead through creativity and innovation," said Forbes.

He talked about how people should take responsibilities for their own shortcoming, just like Steve Jobs did—who got fired from his own company once. That gave Jobs the opportunity to gain experience and then become one of the best CEOs in the world.

Forbes' ideas are also in his new book Freedom Manifesto now available at bookstores and on Amazon.
