Patch Offers Free Workshop for Businesses

We've helped more than 225 Bay Area business owners with Main Street U.

Patch is bringing its popular Main Street U workshop for business owners to Mountain View from 8:30-10:30 a.m. Sept. 25.

Join us at to learn how to improve your online presence via Patch and other social media platforms.

This educational event so far this year has reached more than 225 Bay Area business owners and non-profits.

The interactive workshop covers social mediabusiness directoriesblogging and telling your story on Patch. Participants will enjoy light refreshments graciously provided by our host restaurant and will be eligible for a door prize and giveaways.

We’ll be offering participating business owners a chance to sign up for a one-on-one marketing consultation with a Patch staffer and a chance to sign up to blog on our site.

We'll also help businesses claim their Patch Directory listing page on our site, a free service for promoting your business. Just look up your listing in the directory and click the "Claim" button.

If you search for your business in the directory and it doesn't show up, you can click the "Add a listing" button in the search box and fill out the form. Our directory team will get in touch with you in a couple of days when your listing is ready.
