Can Society's Broken Systems be Fixed? Or Should They be Replaced?

Many of society's systems seem to be functioning poorly (economics, politics, education, etc.). Can they be repaired or should they be replaced?

Recent events in the world of banking, politics, the Occupy Movement and more speak to the view point that many of our existing systems are not serving us.

We recognize that, yet there seems to be precious little dialogue about possible solutions. Instead we see greater polarization and confrontation.

Can anything be done about this? John Renesch believes so. John is a Bay Area resident that has been described as a futurist and transformational leader. A successful entrepreneur and business owner, John believes that achieving a better future is a matter of conscious choice and that an enlightened approach to business activity can be the catalyst to new and exciting possibilities.

John is now dedicated to challenging "the way people think about work, leadership and the future so they can consciously transform the multitude of human systems in which they function—relationships, families, teams, organizations, industries and whole societies."

Several months ago I had the privilege of interviewing John on my show, Reference Point in . I called the discussion "Replacing Society's Broken Systems." How can we solve our problems? Is it possible to fix what's broken or do we need a new of way of doing things?
