In The News: Concertgoer's LiveNation Lawsuit, Phoning E.T. and Startup Fever

Because so much more happens in the city of Mountain View than we can cover!

A lot happens in Mountain View. A lot. The city of approximately 75,000 people increases to more than 100,000 in the daytime, when people come from other Bay Area cities to work.

On weekends, attractions like Shoreline Amphitheatre, the Center for the Performing Arts and the hundreds of restaurants in the city serve as great day trips.

  • A Van Warped tour concertgoer sues after Shoreline Amphitheater Concert, the San Jose Mercury News reported on July 6. The lawsuit filed by Monterey resident Nina Kooroshfar claims that a can of the Monster energy drink thrown into the audience by All-American Rejects singer Tyler Ritter hit her in the head.

  • Mountain View attracts many smart and risky people. Some start businesses, some work for them, some fund them. The startup might be successful, or it might not. Do you have the guts to play?
