- The ubiquitousness of mobile technology can be used for more than social media, well that's what Congresswoman Anna Eshoo (D-Palo Alto). Eshoo has introduced a legislative bill that if approved would grant federal money to local law enforcement agecies so that victims can send them photos, videos and text messages as the alleged crime begins to take place, reports the San Jose Mercury News.
- The mother and daughter duo Mathangi and Arabhi Sundararajan got profiled this week by the Mountain View Voice for their batik photography and batik exhibit at the Community School for Music and Art. Originally from India, the batik artform takes a lot of work but gives the end product an aged but modern feel.
- It's preseason football at Mountian View High and the Coach Toure Carter and his team has been prepared for the games ahead since they haven't stopped training, reports the Mountain View Voice. If his players want to play football in college, Carter wants to help them get there.
- Fitness trainer Omar Lima must know what he's doing if he's working with Strikeforce light heavyweight Champion King Mo Laway at his Mountain View studio, according to Q&A on Fighthype.com.
