A lot happens in Mountain View. A lot. With so much going on and a lot of media attention focused on Mountain View, we decided to help you sort through it and compile some of the top news stories for you in one place. Feel free to add links of stuff we may have missed in the comment section below.
- Reviews on Google+ have begun to pop up around the Internet and the Trinidad and Tobago Guardian Online's tech reporter considers Google+ influence and challenges in the now crowded social media environment.
- Talks of presidential primaries have hit the airwaves and the Internet especially since California has changed it's 2012 primary date. Associated Content reported on the passage of Mountain View Assemblyman Paul Fong's AB 80 bill and how that will save California millions and actually get more voters to the poll.
- Fans of Kings of Leon will be disappointed to hear that the band has cancelled the remainder of its United States tour, which included the Sept. 10 stop at Shoreline Amphitheatre. They sited vocal exhaustion.
- However, there "No-Nukes" concert for Sunday, Aug. 7 at Shoreline Amphitheatre proposes to be out of this world. The Lake Steven Journal gives a history of the concert, the first which actually took place in 1979 in New York. This edition counts on performances by Bonnie Raitt, Jackson Browne; Crosby, Stills and Nash, and Jason Mraz.
