POLL: Readers' Choice—Where to Watch the Game

Don't have tickets to the SF Giants or Oakland A's games? Couldn't afford Sharks playoff tickets? Where do you go in Mountain View to cheer on your favorite team?

Sports fans are a unique breed of people.

They paint their faces and/or dye their hair in their team's colors. The own caps, t-shirts, jersey's, jewelry, pajama bottoms, socks and even underwear with their teams logo—and they might even wear all of this at once and in public!

But with all that enthusiasm, sometimes fans can't get to all the games and when they don't, the next best thing is to head over to their favorite sports bar and cheer for their team there—with others dressed exactly the same!

Where do you go to watch your favorite sports team in Mountain View? Vote in our poll below!

Cast your votes in our poll and drop a comment about why you think your favorite place is worth a visit. Click on the links above and rate the business on its Patch Directory listing. You can even leave a review.

Voting in the poll is open until 9 a.m. Friday. The winner will be determined using a point system based on the most verified votes together with the best ratings in businesses' directory listings. In case of a tie, the business with the highest number of positive reviews in the listings and comments in the Readers' Choice article will be declared the winner. Voting results posted in real time shall not be deemed official until Patch has reviewed and confirmed all of the votes.

Read the full rules here. We will announce the winner at noon Friday and that business will receive a "Patch Readers' Choice" certificate.

Love the Tied House Breast. My all time favorite place ever to watch my favorite sport.

I guess the question really is, what makes a great sports bar? Is it the number of televisions, the service, the food? Do you feel welcomed at a bar that supports a team that you don't?

as kids we would go to round table or a pizza parlor to watch some sports games on tv. these days, why do you need to go anywhere when you can watch on your portable devices and/or cellphone, laptop, etc. go ahead and do your social networking online

I like the convivial spirit that comes with watching a game along side other people. Going to a place where everyone is cheering for 'my' team is the best feeling. I was at Tied House when the SF Giants won the World Series. People were cheering wildly, crying, and high fives and hugs were happening between total strangers. That's my idea of the perfect sports bar. For that reason I choose Tied House!

I love Francesca's because it's a little house with a family feel and it's the oldest bar in Mountain View.

Every seat is on the 50 yard line or behind the catcher with Tied House's well placed TV sets. You will meet interesting people, enjoy one of the many craft beers at a good price, plus their well thought out menu (try the outstanding buffalo burger). The experience is enhanced by the friendly, expert staff: always somehow right there when you need them, but never in your way. Easy parking, or just a short walk from the train station. Adjacent to all the attractions on Castro Street. And don't forget the take out food, packaged without drips and leaks. Lee Hopkins

I've been coming to Francesca's for years and the changes over the last year have been remarkable. I don't know of many bars, sports or otherwise that carry 25 different beers on tap, my vote goes with Francesca's!
