  • The Mountain View police seek a Hispanic man and woman who are suspected of walking into the CVS in Old Mountain View and and taking $1,800 worth of laxatives, allergy pills and acid reflux remedies.

  • In an effort to help injured Giants fan, and for Brian Stow's family. The Mountain View event raised more than $2,000 and brought together both San Francisco Giants and Los Angeles Dodgers fans to view that evening's game.

Thursday, April 14

  • With a dramatic and magnificent stage design and a cast of 160 actors, the Abundant Life Christian Fellowship church —the life, death and resurrection of Jesus at its worship center in Mountain View.
  • A Sunnyvale man was at the parking lot near the Rite Aidon Grant Road, thanks to the evidence from the victim's cellphone, according to police spokeswoman Liz Wylie.
  • Do you Kindle? started by Columnist Joni Ratt's column this week about the pros of eBook readers. 

Friday, April 15

  • A Mountain View man has been after he threw rocks into a parked car with passengers and a 11-month-old baby in the Castro City neighborhood, the police department reported.
  • A northbound Caltrain struck and killed a woman in her 60s, whose car was stopped on the tracks as a result of backed-up traffic at Charleston Road off Alma Street. She and her male partner, also in his mid-60s, had travelled from Indiana to visit family in Palo Alto. The man managed to get out of the car.
  • Junior starter and Pitcher Alli Quinn yielded only five hits the rest of the way and helped  on a sunny Friday afternoon at St. Francis High in Mountain View.
