Beginning Web Design - Save the Date!

Does your daughter(s) want to learn how to create a personal web page? CoderDojo Silicon Valley is having an all girls coding event for girls to learn how to create a page, add links, add images, change font colors, background colors by using basic HTML and simple CSS. This is an introductory session and first time users are welcome.


When: March 2, 2014, Sunday, 2:00pm-5:00pm

Where: Microsoft, Mountain View

What to Bring:
-A laptop.
-A parent/guardian must stay during the session if you are 13 or under!

Beginning Web Design Session: Introduction to Web design: Creating a simple 3-5 paged personal website in HTML.


Presenter: Amanda Hsueh. She is a user experience designer and project manager at a web development agency. She created her first website with HTML 4.0 at age 12 and now creates complex web applications for businesses in the Bay Area.

Prerequisites: Good typing skills required. Minimum age 8.

CoderDojo Silicon Valley (http://coderdojosv.com/) is an all-volunteer based FREE programming club for kids between the ages of 8-17.
