Youth Theatre brings the beloved family musical PETER PAN to
the Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts in November. Join
Peter, Wendy, Michael, John and Tinkerbell as they soar to Neverland to battle
the dastardly Captain Hook. The musical is based on the play by James M. Barrie
with lyrics by Carolyn Leigh, Music by Mark Charlap and additional music by
Jule Styne and additional lyrics by Betty Comden and Adolph Green. PYT's production, directed by Michael
Champlin, will also feature flying by ZFX.
The
show runs November 9 - 17 at the Mountain View Center for the
Performing Arts, 500 Castro St., Mountain View. Show times are Nov. 9
at 2 p.m and 7:30 p.m.; Nov. 10 at 1 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.; Nov. 14 at 9:30
a.m.; Nov. 15 at 9:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m.; Nov. 16 at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.;and Nov. 17 at 1:00 p.m.
Tickets are $20 for adults and $16 for seniors and children with
special discount prices available for school day performances. Children
who come to performances dressed as a pirate will receive a piece of pirate's
treasure.
