LAHS' Champion Cheerleaders Seek Funds for Trip to Nationals

The Los Altos Cheerleaders need to raise money for their travel to nationals in Southern California on March 15, and they kicked it off with an eWaste collection Saturday.

The Los Altos Cheerleaders won 1st place at the American Masterpiece Competition on Feb. 9 at the San Jose Convention Center, making them National Champions for the first time.

The team has faced adversity this year but has worked very hard to bring home this title.

The Los Altos cheerleaders will be heading to Disneyland for the USA Spirit National Championships on March 15, 2013. They are hoping to bring home the USA National title to Los Altos High School.

The Los Altos Cheerleaders hosted an E-Waste Collection Fundraiser to help
with travel expenses to the national competition in Southern California. The E-Waste Collection on Saturday, March 2 at Los Altos High.

The team is also looking for monetary donations and corporate sponsorships. All

ABOUT LOS ALTOS HIGH SCHOOL CHEER
The cheer team is coached by Nikia Crawley and consists of team members Alannah Zib, Brianna Lane, Carly Cohen, Cathy Liu, Elizabeth Arnold, Esperanza Medina, Jordan Garvey, Kelly Little, Madi Beagle, Miaulian Chang, Michelle Deng, Morgan Jaffe, and Roxanne Rogers.
