Obituary: Opal Emma Gramenz (1921-2012)
The Iowa native and Mountain View resident is survived by 17 grandchildren.
Opal Emma Gramenz, a mother and grandmother who lived in Mountain View, died on Dec. 29, 2012 at the age 91.
Born July 5, 1921 to Nellie and Bert Morrow of Waterloo, Iowa, Opal came to California in 1942 and married Lloyd Gramenz in 1948. They had two children, Rande and Lucinda.
Preceding her in death were daughter Lucinda, her parents, a sister and three brothers in Iowa.

She is survived by her son Rande, seven grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren, all who reside in California.
Memorial Service for Gramenz will be held on Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013 at 12 p.m. at Cusimano Family Colonial Mortuary, 96 W. El Camino Real, Mountain View.
