Obituary: Teresa Stephens (1929-2012)

Teresa Victoria Ochoa Capella Stephens, 83, of Sunnyvale, died peacefully surrounded by her family on Nov. 30, 2012. A resident of Santa Clara County since 1961, Teresa was born and raised in San Francisco. She enjoyed traveling and was a top seller of Avon products for many years. Teresa had a zest for life as she loved to entertain.

She is survived by her dearly loving husband Elvin, her five children Patrice McKee, Donna Cardoza, Rich Stephens, Jeannine Simoes and Renee Stephens (Gonzalez) and nine grandchildren Jenee, Christina, Scotty, Stephanie, David, Joshua, Matthew, Sabrina and Sarah.

Teresa was the eldest daughter of seven children; Charles (deceased), Anthony (deceased), David, Manuel, Edward and Rose. She will be deeply missed and in our hearts forever.

Services have been held were held at the Cusimano Family Colonial Mortuary, 96 W. El Camino Real in Mountain View on Tuesday, Dec. 4 followed by a funeral mass St. Joseph's Catholic Church at 582 Hope St. in Mountain View on Wednesday, Dec. 5.
