MV Rugby Coaches Recognized by Sports Authority

Sports Authority rewarded the volunteer efforts of the MV Bobcat Rugby Coaches by presenting them with kit bags

The coaching volunteers of the who run the first and only youth rugby organization in the city of Mountain View were formally recognized by Sports Authority last Saturday during the Stanford University Rugby games at Steuber Stadium.

Each of 16 coaching staff at "AYRU - MV Bobcats Youth Rugby Club" devote almost 100 hours of their free time over the course of the season, to teach kids aged six to 14, how to play the game of rugby in a fun and safe environment.

Sports Authority were keen to recognize and reward this enormous effort, by giving each of the coaches a kit bag filled with useful training equipment.

AYRU is the first youth rugby organization in California to receive this type of recognition by Sports Authority and we are very grateful for their generosity.

We look forward to growing a lasting relationship with Sports Authority who are the only sports store in the Soth Bay area who actually stock rugby equipment including rugby balls. Sports Authority have stores in Sunnyvale and East Palo Alto.

AYRU provided the ball runners for all four games at Stanford University's Steuber stadium last Saturday
