In 2016 rugby will become an Olympic sport at the Summer games. So it is not suprizing to see youth teams all over the USA making preparations to coach young players how to play Olympic-style rugby.
Olympic Rugby teams are composed of 7 players not 15 as is the convention. It’s fast and fun and perfect for boys and girls of all shapes and sizes who like lots of physical activity.
Kids all over California are in training so that one day they can represent the USA at the Olympic games.
So for the first time ever the Mountain View Bobcats Youth Rugb Club will be offering a short Summer program to get a number of U12 and U14 teams ready for some local tournaments in late June and July.
