Amber Alert Issued for Boy, 8; Girl, 16

The suspect is believed to be driving a blue Nissan Versa with CA license plate No. 6WCU986.

An Amber Alert has been issued for a 16-year-old girl and 8-year-old boy abducted out of San Diego County on Saturday evening.

The children, Hannah Anderson and Ethan Anderson, lived in the city of Boulevard and went missing from their home around 5 p.m. Saturday, according to the California Highway Patrol.

At the burnt home of the suspect, James Lee Dimaggio, in Lake County the bodies of the mother Christina Anderson and another child were found.

An Amber Alert was issued for the pair late Monday night.

Hannah Anderson is white, 5 feet 7 inches tall and 115 pounds; she has blonde hair and blue eyes. She has a navel ring, nose stud and pierced ears.

Ethan Anderson is white, 4 feet 11 inches tall and 65 pounds; he has sandy blonde hair.

The suspect is James Lee Dimaggio, a 40-year-old white man. He's 5 feet 9 inches, weighs 150 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes.

Dimaggio was last seen driving a blue Nissan Versa 4-door with a CA license plate No. 6WCU986.

According to the San Jose Mercury News, DiMaggio may be traveling to Canada or Texas.
