The fire was contained in the cafeteria. No one was injured.

A small kitchen fire in a cafeteria forced the evacuation of Intuit's building No. 6 Wednesday morning.

Reported around 11 a.m., the Mountain View Fire Department arrived shortly thereafter and quickly doused the flames. Firefighters pulled a pan that continued to smoke out the side of the building to let it air out. It smelled of burnt metal.

The Mountain View-based company's gym also shares the structure.

Even though the fire was extinguished, firefighters remained on scene to ensure smoke was removed from inside the building and to do an inspection of the structure with facilities personnel.
