Game Over for Two Arrested at Alibi Bar

Brothers threw bar stools and pool balls at bar patrons, injuring one.

Two brothers have been arrested for assault with a deadly weapon, a police department official reported today.

Around 1:21 a.m., two Mountain View residents and brothers Bisrat Abebe, 33, and Yonathan Abebe, 28, began to argue with customers at , 1313 W. El Camino Real, over the use of a pool table, according to Mountain View Police Department Spokeswoman Liz Wylie. After the bartender returned their quarter's and asked them to leave, the brothers allegedly began to throw bar stools and pool balls.

A San Jose man, 21, received an injury to the head with a bar stool, which created a two to three inch laceration, was treated on the scene. A second victim, 24, only complained of pain after blocking a pool ball with their arm.

Though the suspects left the bar before officers arrived, the police located them in the alley way behind the bar, arrested them and booked them into jail.
