Two 20-year-old males, from Mountain View and San Jose, were arrested last week in connection with several home and car burglaries in Los Altos, according to police.

The Los Altos Police Departmentresponded Thursday at 5:20 a.m. to a citizen's report of suspicious individuals on the 200 block of Hawthorne Avenue.

Two suspects, later identified as Nathan Hubbard of Mountain View and Isaiah Magee of San Jose, were found hiding on a residential property, police said.

The pair were in possession of property belonging to a nearby residence that was just burglarized while the homeowners were asleep, police said.

Inside the suspects' vehicle parked nearby, officers said they recovered property reportedly stolen from at least five other recent home and vehicle break-ins throughout Los Altos.

Included with the loot were items swiped from homes where the suspects allegedly gained entry using garage door openers stolen from cars, police said.

Hubbard and Magee were booked into the Santa Clara County Jailfor suspicion of burglary, possession of stolen property and conspiracy.

Investigators are currently working to identify any additional victims from Los Altos and surrounding cities, and anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Los Altos Police Department Investigations Unit at (650) 947-2770.
